My Beloved;
I promised you weeks ago that things were going to be different this time. You always believe me; I always let you down.
Honestly, I am not sure where things went awry. My intentions were never stronger than they were this time. Each day I vowed that tomorrow would be the start of something new.
Sure, we had a couple of laughs--some unexpected time together like we'd hoped. It's always difficult to work around his schedule. You know, my obligations are to him first.
If you were being completely honest, it wasn't always my fault. There were times when I had made the arrangements, but you were being difficult. You can't blame me for that.
At any rate, I guess this is where we part ways. There is no need to dwell on it.
