Interview with the chil'ren. Part one

A while back, I read this post from BooMama. It was so cute, I knew I had to try to attempt something similar with my kids. Here is the first interview with Jessica, 15.

It's the second week of Fall Break. How do you feel about that?
::rolls eyes, shakes head:: "I don't know. It's been too short."

Do you remember before we were on this calendar, before we had a Fall Break?
::looks at me like I am speaking French:: No.

Oh. Nevermind then.

What is your favorite song right now?
"I don't have one.

But the radio is on all.the.time. Nothing pops in your head?
"I don't have a favorite song, though."

You are reading Twilight which I believe is the first book you have read on your own since Green Eggs and Ham. Do you plan on reading the entire series? And if so, does this mean you will love reading and read more?
"Yes and no."

So, this isn't going to become a habit or anything?
"No. I doubt it."

Do you think your friends would laugh if they knew you were watching "Spongebob" on a Monday night with your brothers?
"Probably not."

Is it possible they are also watching "Spongebob" with it being a new episode and all?
"Probably not. But possibly, if there is nothing else on."

Fast forward to college graduation. What is your dream?
::shrugs shoulders:: "Don't know yet."

Ok. I am getting a lot of IDK, so tell me something funny.
"Like what? Oh. I think it's funny you write for fun."

Why is that funny?
"IDK it just is."

You do realize this is going out on the 'net, right?
"I reckon. Why? Who's going to read it?"

Well, I guess that pretty much sums it up.

Jessica and her car, Lola.

Teenagers can talk to their friends constantly, but ask for info? No Chance. Cute post.

Hmmm...I never thought I'd know another person as well as I know your daughter now.

LOL

Typical teenage responses! ;)

I'd love to do this with my kids...don't think it would work though.

So, does this interview mean that Sponge Bob isn't cool with the teen crowd or does it mean that he might be? I feel a little confused.
