It has been two years to the week since we were last together. To say I haven't thought of you would be a lie. I think of you often and lovingly.

I want nothing more than for you to wrap your warmth around me as your gentle waves lull me into a place that only you and I know.

Oh, how I long for that salty smell of you and the feel of your breath on my skin as you run your fingers through my hair.

To see you with others puts an ache in my heart. We agreed it would be better this way. But the bottom line, Gulf; I can't quit you.

They have kept us apart for now, but soon, we'll meet again.
Faithfully(but broke),
Heather
P.S. Hopefully when I come back, I'll either have a new camera, or the timestamp set properly.

Seriously. I could use some beach right now, too.
Enjoying reading your post. You could put these words and photos to good use with the fun social contests from the Gulf Shores/Orange Beach tourism office. Check out www.thebeachiscalling.org for details.
Everytime I've been to Florida, we always end up on the Gulf side.
It's lovely, no doubt about it.
And I hear about being broke. ::sigh::
