Mom according to the men- folk

I have seen this little survey at a couple of places...once on Facebook and on another blog. I wish I could give props, but I can't remember who did it. At any rate, I thought it was pretty cute. And a good way to continue procrastinating whilst watching the Jon and Kate marathon....

1. What is something your mom always says to you?
N: Bedtime! (Apparently I only talk once a day. Or he only listens once a day.)
D: I don't know. (It's an epidemic.)

2. What makes mom happy?
N: A clean house.
D: Jellybeans.

3. What makes mom sad?
N: Someone saying you're mean. ( I am unaware of anyone saying this.)
D: When someone dies.

4. How does your mom make you laugh?
N: Tickling me.
D: Tickles me.

5. What was your mom like as a child?
N: Good.
D: You liked playing softball. (I played exactly one season. And hated it.)

6. How old is your mom?
N: 34 (He had to think about it)
D: 32

7. How tall is your mom?
N: Five feet.
D: I don't know about that. How big is a foot?

8. What is her favorite thing to do?
N: Shop. (I feel like he doesn't know me at all.)
D: Read books.

9. What does your mom do when you are not around?
N: Homework.
D: Read books.

10. If your mom becomes famous, what would it be for?
N: Book writing. (Ok. He can pay attention)
D: On the computer. (Not sure what that means.)

11. What is your mom really good at?
N: Cleaning and shopping.
D: Typing on the computer.

12. What is your mom not really good at?
N: Camping. (OMG ROFL)
D: Singing. (They are cruel. And I sing ALL. THE. TIME.)

13. What does your mom do for a job?
N: Substitute and works on the phone. (I guess I don't tell them everything.)
D: Substitute.

14. What is your mom's favorite food?
N: Jellybeans! (Eating some right now)
D: Jellybeans.

15. What makes you proud of your mom?
N: When you let me play video games and play with Chris and Blake.
D: I don't know.

16. If your mom was a cartoon character, who would she be?
N: Timmy's mom (on Fairly Odd-Parents.)
D: I don't know.

17. What do you and your mom do together?
N: School projects and homework
D: Play board games.

18. How are you and your mom the same?
N: We like jellybeans and we clean.
D: We have the same hair.

19. How are you and your mom different?
N:I have blond hair and you have black hair. You are an adult and I am a child. I like camping.
D:You have a lot of freckles, and I have barely any.

20. How do you know your mom loves you?
N: You do stuff with me.
D: I make you happy. (Awww...)

21. What does your mom like most about your dad?
N: His funniness.
D: His fake singing.

22. Where is mom's favorite place to go?
N: Flip-flop section at the mall. (OH! Is there a place?!)
D: Target.

This was enlightening to say the least. Clearly, I eat too many jellybeans....

That singing thing is such a bait and switch. All the baby books say, "sing to your baby! He doesn't care if you sing off-key!"

Except, apparently, he does care. And later he's going to say so.

Also, your jellybean habit must be impressive!

This made me laugh sooo hard. They are funny kids, but I should expect it since they are yours!

Great one! I did this with my boys too and it was so funny! I have an admission too, I made them change an answer on one of the questions! ROFL!

I wish I could do this with my kids...but I don't think I'd get answers from either of them. Maybe when they're older. :)

Regardless, this had me laughing out loud.

Your little comments really added to the whole ambience. :)
